Hepatitis - Ayurvedic Herbal Treatment

Hepatitis is inflammation of the liver causing damage as well as environmental harm of the liver cells. Hepatitis could be sometimes chronic or acute. Intense hepatitis is often caused by viral infection, reaction or perhaps drug overdose, and exposure to chemicals. Hepatitis which persists longer than 6 months is termed as chronic hepatitis.
Intense hepatitis generally results in jaundice, that is a yellowish pigmentation of the eyes, urine, and Fatigue (click here for more) afterwards, the nails as well as skin. This is called as "Kamla" in Ayurveda, and it is divided into 2 types: "Bahupitta Kamla" as well as "Ruddhapath Kamla". The primary type is triggered by too much breakdown of the white blood cells(e.g. malaria), while the next category is caused by obstruction of bile flow as a result of swelling in the liver cells or even on account of a few actual obstruction in the bile duct. The main obvious difference in the two is that feces (stools) are the regular colored in the earliest type, and pale or whitish in the second type. Therapy for both sorts of "Kamla" is radically different.
Ayurvedic medicines are very useful in both acute and chronic hepatitis. Ayurvedic formulations which are well known for the therapy of liver problems are: Arogya Vardhini, Sutshekhar Rasa, Shankh Bhasma, Chandrakala Rasa, Chandanadi Vati, Kamdudha, Praval Panchamrut, Rohitakarishta and Kumaryasava. For chronic hepatitis, aside from that to the above mentioned medicines, some particular preparations are being used such as Suvarna Sutshekhar Rasa, Suvarna Malini Vasant and Tamra Bhasma. Fermented organic formulations called "Asavas" and "Arishtas" are used.
